Photoshop

I like using Photoshop to paint.  It's a lot less mess and you can control the placement and design of every single stroke.  Every blemish and inaccuracy can be undone without a trace.  However, the sheer amount of effects/filters/adjustments that you have at your disposal is a double edged sword.  I switch off the part of my brain that controls subtlety and try to jam every single effect possible in to one painting.

Digital painting.  Sometimes you do something by accident that you love, but can't replicate it again.  Same as normal painting I suppose.

I find painting on photoshop half amazing and half frustrating.  I could easily spend hours playing around with it, discovering new tricks and techniques.  Then I have a meltdown and ignore it for weeks.

I like to draw without reference material and without sketching.  In fact I do very little planning.  My drawings just appear before my eyes. Sometimes I'm happy with the result.

So Safari doesn't agree with blogspot.  Downloaded google chrome and now I can see all the options to edit my blog.  I'm not especially computer-savvy but was feeling particularly dumb at not being able to find the 'add new post' or even 'publish' button whilst using Safari.

Problem Solved.

Hello.
